HOW ATI CONVEYS ITS MESSAGE
- Provides members and others, information about Idaho’s tax system and how it works.
- Compiles and analyses data covering the entire state, including county, city, school district, other taxing districts, tax code, and parcel levels.
- Coordinates with public officials and state/local governments to get information regarding expenditure of funds and levying of taxes.
- Makes public revenue and expenditure information available in a straightforward, comprehensive manner so it can be used by elected officials, the media, ATI members and others.
- Analyses tax legislation affecting state/local fiscal policies and keeps ATI members and the public informed of such legislation.
- Presents tax/fiscal information in communities around the state and sponsors an Annual Taxpayers Conference where Idaho’s economy and tax system is analyzed, where taxpayer concerns are aired, and other issues of state and local government are examined.
- Conducts annual Board of Directors and Membership meetings, periodic Executive Committee meetings and special tax committee meetings on issues needing independent research.

Periodic Newsletters and special reports including:
- Idaho Property Tax Levies (by county, by taxing district, statewide summary).
- How Idaho Compares (national comparative fiscal rankings).
- Idaho School District Comparisons (M&O funding by district, other summaries).
- Federal/State/Local Revenue Sharing (by county, by taxing district) and many other reports.
